To use BaranginAja, you must:

• Be at least 17 years old or have parental/guardian consent
• Be a current student, staff, or affiliate of Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA)
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Have a valid email address and phone number
• Comply with all applicable local, state, and national laws

We reserve the right to verify your eligibility and may suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.

Account Creation:

• You must create an account to list items or make purchases
• Provide truthful, accurate, and up-to-date information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• One person may only maintain one account unless authorized by BaranginAja

Account Security:

• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account
• Do not share your account credentials with anyone

You agree to use BaranginAja in a lawful and respectful manner. You will NOT:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Engage in any form of harassment, abuse, or hate speech
• Violate any intellectual property rights
• Use the platform for illegal activities
• Attempt to manipulate prices or reviews
• Create fake accounts or impersonate others
• Spam other users with unsolicited messages
• Use automated systems (bots) to access the platform
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform
• Collect user data without permission

Seller Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate descriptions, photos, and pricing
• Only list items you legally own and have the right to sell
• Ensure items are in the condition described
• Respond promptly to buyer inquiries
• Honor the listed price and availability
• Complete transactions in good faith

Listing Guidelines:

• Use clear, actual photos of the item (no stock images)
• Include all relevant details (condition, defects, specifications)
• Set reasonable prices based on market value
• Update or remove listings when items are sold

Note: BaranginAja reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate.

Payment Methods:

• BaranginAja supports QRIS payments and Cash on Delivery (COD)
• All QRIS payments must be verified by admin before item shipment
• Sellers must wait for payment verification before shipping items
• COD transactions should be completed in safe, public campus locations

Transaction Process:

• Buyer initiates purchase and submits payment proof
• Admin verifies payment (for QRIS transactions)
• Seller ships item with courier and uploads delivery proof
• Buyer confirms receipt of item
• Transaction is marked as completed

Important Notes:

• BaranginAja is a facilitator and not responsible for payment disputes
• Sellers are responsible for accurate item delivery
• Buyers should inspect items before confirming receipt
• Report any issues within 24 hours of delivery

The following items are strictly prohibited from being listed on BaranginAja:

Warning: Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.

BaranginAja's Rights:

• All content, features, and functionality are owned by BaranginAja
• This includes logos, trademarks, design, text, graphics, and software
• Protected by Indonesian and international copyright laws
• Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited

User Content:

• You retain ownership of content you post (photos, descriptions)
• By posting, you grant BaranginAja a license to use, display, and distribute your content
• You represent that you own or have rights to all posted content
• Do not post content that infringes on others' intellectual property

BaranginAja is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Accuracy, quality, or legality of items listed
• Ability of sellers to complete transactions
• Ability of buyers to pay for items
• Actions or inactions of platform users
• Item quality, condition, or authenticity
• Delivery delays or lost items
• Technical issues or platform downtime
• Loss of data or content
• Disputes between buyers and sellers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BaranginAja and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the platform.

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains:

• What information we collect and how we use it
• How we protect your personal data
• Your rights regarding your information
• How we handle cookies and tracking
• Third-party data sharing policies

By using BaranginAja, you consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy. We comply with Indonesian data protection regulations.

Account Termination:

• You may close your account at any time
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone
• Repeated violations may result in permanent ban

Grounds for Termination:

• Violation of terms and conditions
• Fraudulent activity or scamming
• Posting prohibited items
• Harassment or abusive behavior
• Creating multiple fake accounts
• Inactivity for extended periods

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. We may retain certain information as required by law.

Resolution Process:

1. First, attempt to resolve disputes directly with the other party
2. If unresolved, contact BaranginAja support with details and evidence
3. Our team will review and attempt to mediate
4. Decisions made by BaranginAja are final

Governing Law:

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Surabaya, East Java.

Tip: Keep all communication records and evidence (screenshots, messages) in case of disputes.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the platform.

• Significant changes will be notified via email or platform notification
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
• Review terms periodically to stay informed
• Last updated date will be displayed at the top

If you disagree with any changes, you should discontinue use of the platform and close your account.
